The space
Positioned for 360-degree views, you can find the Aegean Sea, Cretan Mountains, and sprawling valleys of Rethymno at this modern villa. Sip your morning tea at the smaller, ocean-facing bistro set while the kids play on the jungle gym. Swim a few laps in the pool to warm up before heading to the Blue Flag awarded, Adelianos Kampos Beach. It’s just a few minutes from home.

Orizontes borrows inspiration from the traditional architectural style of the Cyclades, adding a delightfully modern touch. Rounded edges get straightened out. Small circular windows turn into landscape capturing floor-to-ceiling openings. In the living room, a floating staircase opens the space even more. Let the fully-equipped kitchen inspire your creative side and try your hand at a traditional Greek dish. After dinner at the alfresco set, pour yourself another glass of wine and sink into the soothing hot tub.

Rethymno is one of the most well-preserved Renaissance cities in Greece, as well as a haven for outdoor enthusiasts. Wander the ancient streets to find incredible architecture, traditional Greek restaurants, and boutique shops. Just outside the city, you’ll find hiking trails, gorges, caves, and even more pristine beachfront. Follow the coast east, and you’ll find the beautiful city of Heraklion, which is known for its famous Archeological Museum.
