Very good shopping is within walking distance. In the district town of Itzehoe you are 10 minutes away by car, 45 minutes to Büsum and Hamburg is easily accessible by bus and train.

The Elbe and the dyke can be reached in 15-20 min. by car. Here you can expect a real beach and a delicious snack and matching refreshment in summer. You can also reach Hamburg in 30 minutes. In about 3 km. distance is the Horster train station. There is a car park and bicycle parking spaces here.

The house, with about 140 m2 of living space and an antique fireplace, is available for guests for their own use. From here, you can take many excursions to the North Sea (Büsum 30 and Speichererkoog in Meldorf 20 minutes by car, ...).

The accommodation is part of our Quellental forest estate in Odderade, Dithmarschen district and is located in the middle of a forest clearing, nestled in a picturesque pond area. Our forestry operation is part of the largest forest area on the North Sea coast, the Riesewohld. Here, 700 hectares of partly uncultivated, natural forest invite you to linger and explore.

Beautifully furnished apartment for 2 people. Quiet location, nice neighbors, approx. 4 km from the city center of Heide (largest market square in Germany). Approx. 20 minutes to Büsum and the possibility by ferry to Heligoland (travel time approx. 2.5 hours), approx. 35 minutes to Husum or St. Peter-Ording, about 75 minutes to Hamburg, Kiel, or Flensburg.
