Almost off-grid, it has a comfy bed, central woodburner and spectacular view. It's the perfect stepping stone towards the full off-grid experience, intended for people who are curious about living the off-grid lifestyle but also like to be able to charge their phone, boil a kettle and have a hot shower! The Old Coastguard Station,NC500

Downstairs, offers a family bathroom, 3 double bedrooms (one en-suite with a toilet and sink), all with spectacular sea views. Walk upstairs to be greeted by open plan living room/ diner that leads onto a modern kitchen & separate utility room. There are panoramic views of the Moray Firth and the northern lights often make an appearance.

The Coach House at Manse House

Make some memories at this unique and friendly place. Originally the Coach House of the 18th century listed Manse House, the property was sympathetically converted in 2004. The property lies in the gardens of the Manse in central Tain. It has great access to the main visitor attractions of the Eastern Highlands and makes a great place to relax or to use as a comfortable spot from which to explore the Highlands. Pets are welcome. Cute tiny shepherd's hut near to the village

Our quirky, cute shepherd's hut sits in a semi-wild orchard next to our house, and near to an historic mill. It is ideal for one or two people and comes equipped with a comfortable double bed, a folding table, a small kitchen area with a microwave, kettle and toaster and a tiny private bathroom, with a hot shower. Outside, the decking provides a space to relax. The BBQ provides an option for dinner. Drinking water is from a tap on the side of the hut.

One bedroom apartment in Dornoch, Scotland

With views to the Dornoch Firth this light and airy, self-contained, one bed apartment is situated in a quiet and leafy no-through road serving a small number of residential properties. The centre of Dornoch and the Royal Dornoch Golf Club is a ten minute walk. The expanse of sandy beach and dunes is approximately, a fifteen minute walk. It is perfectly situated as a pit-stop for the NC500 or as a base to enjoy the hills, glens and coastline.

We are a working Croft in the heart of the highlands overlooking Loch Shin, with views of Ben More Assynt. Where a warm welcome awaits you. Come and explore what Sutherland has to offer from walking, canoeing and cycling to fishing and a good game of golf all within easy drive. Spend the night in either Whisky or Skipper. One of our pods named after our dogs. Take a seat on the deck with a cuppa or a glass and watch the world go by.

The Pavilion is a Luxurious Self Catered Wing of Foulis Castle just out of Evanton near the ancient burgh of Dingwall. The Pavilion is positioned within beautiful landscaped gardens overlooking the Cromarty Firth. Foulis Castle is a 15-20 min walk away from the Storehouse of Foulis Restaurant & Farm shop, which is situated on the shore of the Cromarty Firth (Mon-Sat 9-5pm).
