L'Orangerie is a pretty studio apartment in Le Vigan, at the foot of Mont Aigoual in the Cévennes National Park. A short walk to Le Vigan town centre, l'Orangerie is set in a shared garden overlooking olive and cypress trees. The apartment once housed orange and lemon trees to protect them from frost during the cold winter months. True to its original layout, the studio is a bright, open plan room with plenty of natural light streaming through powder blue shuttered windows.

Located in an old house in the Hamlet of Rochebelle, 5 minutes from Vigan, a small town with all shops, the apartment, new, is located on the first floor. The room faces south… but in the middle of summer it always stays pleasantly cool thanks to the old walls... the kitchen is very well equipped. Through the window you will see mountains, a small pond, trees… while in the bedroom you can let your gaze wander over paintings, including a large Breton landscape.

The hamlet of Lacamp overlooks the southern tip of the Cevennes, where thyme and chestnut meet. At the end of this old stone hamlet, an old Cevennes house of 80m². Its two private terraces offer a unique view of the peak of Anjeau and the 5 kilometers of forest without vis-à-vis that draw the setting. Le Mas du Ciel is a green setting located 400 meters above sea level at the edge of a forest and enjoying a beautiful unobstructed view of the mountain. It has a swimming pool that you can enjoy almost exclusively (there are no other tenants and you will only share it with the owners) Nearby are numerous hiking trails and river swimming spots You will find local farmers' markets including the Vigan market which is open year-round.

If you are looking for a quiet and peaceful setting, while having access to all amenities nearby, our studio is the perfect place. Sumène offers all the amenities to make your stay enjoyable and convenient. Nearby you will find restaurants, a café, a pharmacy, a grocery store and even a weekly market where you can buy fresh local produce.

Gite for 2 in the heart of the Cévennes

Our pleasant and bright cottage is located in an old clède, a small house that was used to dry chestnuts in the Cévennes. There is an equipped kitchen, a bedroom with a double bed (140 cm) and a bathroom with shower and toilet. A small table in the garden and another on the terrace will allow you to have your meals in the sun or under the trellis. A small barbecue is available (to be found in the small cellar below the cottage).
