Footbridge Farm is a quiet country get-away located on 90 wooded acres, 15 miles NE of Decorah. We are close to the mouth of Canoe Creek, the Upper Iowa River and adjacent to state DNR land. The cozy owner-built cabin has an open ceiling with exposed beams and rafters giving a sense of spaciousness. Local stone was used in the exterior walls and the floor-to-ceiling fire back behind the wood-burning stove. The floors are oak and slate. Detailed craftsmanship can be found throughout the cabin.

The Stone Home on N 2nd Street is a historic limestone building. We are 1/2 block from the Mississippi River with views of both the river and BlackHawk bridge. Across the street is the local ice cream shop. We are 1 block from main street and easy walking to restaurants/bars and shops. This is the upper level unit. There is a main level unit below this one. Stairs are required to gain access to this unit.

If you are looking for lodging accommodations for a week long or weekend get away, this scenic little gem will not disappoint. This is a great rental for a single, couple, small family or two couples! Ideal for a fishing tournament, boating trips, family vacations, retreats etc. We have hook-ups to charge your boats as well! Reconnect with nature at this unforgettable escape. Charming little park model off the beaten path but easy drive to town. Creek access , stocked ponds, catch and release, fire pit with one free bundle of firewood a night. This is country living well worth the money, but if you’re scared of the dark or some dust or a fly here or there move on.
