Ancient family house, recently renovated by architects with traditional technics and natural elements as wood, iron, and local clay. The structure and basic furniture were handmade, from the stairs to the lights in the open space, made of the old doors and bee’s wax. The swimming pool was built from an old granite water tank with a view from the river just up to the sea. You will love this place due to its location, the country atmosphere so near the beach, and the uniqueness of the house.

Seixas is a friendly fishing village right on the Portuguese “Caminho Atlântico” to Santiago de Compostela and an easy one hour reach from Porto airport. The dream of "Refúgio do Anjo" came as a result of the need to escape the city and find myself in the village. It was in the tranquility of Lanhelas that I found a small house, from 1937, almost in ruins, that I dedicated myself to restore. The accommodation is located close to the river Minho, an ideal place to visit the entire Alto Minho region, from Caminha and Vila Nova de Cerveira to the region of Galicia (Spain). Nearby, you will find several beaches and mountains.
