“Do not hesitate - just book it! This listing is special and truly unique. The hilltop villa sits very high up on the edge of the jungle with some of the best sunsets you’ll ever see. You are surrounded by nature and it’s a lovely respite from some of the more touristy parts of the island. Plus, there are only a handful of villas, so you can be assured of some peace and quiet. Ismail is a true gentleman and was incredibly helpful whenever we needed help. Chris the gardener was also great to chat with and full of advice. Thanks to you both. Top tip would be to get a Grab from airport (it was about 20RM) and then get a rental car through Ismail on arrival for the days you actually need one. Grab is super cheap here and we only had one occasion where a car wasn’t available. This is one of the nicest places we have stayed and really hope to return!”

“What a wonderful and peaceful stay in at a Malay Kampung house at Sunset Valley. If you want to experience the life of a Malaysian kampung, book no further :) Birds chirping, monkeys watching, and friendly cats and dogs made this place even more a pleasure to stay in! What a treat away from the hustle and bustle. We didn't want to leave, looking forward to return in future!”

“Our two big and two small families have a safe, clean and comfortable experience here. My little daughter is more than three years old. Michaela sent me two boxes of Lego toys, and a day later I sent a Trojan horse. I like to play with nine-year-old and three-year-old children. I like them very much. Michael's wife also bought us a Malaysian breakfast. One afternoon, I took the children to swim, and Mrs. Michael gave us her baked goods. good to eat. Children love this and prefer Michaela and her family. He also has two daughters in Europe.”
