Riverside Cottage

Our fully equipped seasonal cottage is on the Salmon river 15 minutes north of Malone and close to the Canadian border. We can provide info on visiting Montreal as well as the Wilder Homestead, fishing and hiking trails. We have an appetizer or home made soup waiting for guests on their arrival. We have bees and are pleased to show how we are nurturing our hive. Our gardens are beautiful and guests are welcome on both properties. As Super Hosts we do our best to make your stay memorable🌻

“The Cottage”

Cute, country, all season cottage, on the banks of the Raisin river, not far from the St. Lawrence, just outside the quaint village of Williamstown. This two bedroom home has everything you need if you are travelling through the area or for a quiet weekend away. Extend your stay to enjoy canoeing or kayaking out your back door or cross-country skiing and hiking on nearby trials. Situated about 10 minutes from the 401. Roughly 20 minutes from Cornwall and an hour from Ottawa and Montreal.

Unwind in the countryside of South Glengarry. Our location is close to Ottawa, 124 km SE, and Montreal, 81km West, 20km east of Cornwall and 10km south of Williamstown. Embrace the peace and beauty of the orchard during the spring, summer or fall. Breathe in the refreshing winter air. This is our home property, you may see children exploring with one collie, chickens free ranging and waking to a rooster. Ideal for fishermen who want the St. Lawrence River. We start pizza in Spring ‘24.

One of four cottages available, every person who has stayed here comments on the peacefulness. We take a lot of pride as we have built this on behalf of my late mother, Penny. She passed from Parkinson’s after a 32 year battle and we will donate yearly to Parkinson’s Research.
