On Strawberry Creek in Idyllwild's historic district, the Owl Pine Guest Cabin was built in 1922. It's the best of both worlds w/ plenty of nature (burbling creek, rock paths, trees, birds, mountain air, stars) + close to civilization (the property is near restaurants/shops). Native rock fireplace, hot tub, eclectic art, record collection/player, games, books, TV, Wifi, BBQ, fire pit hang deck. We have a chicken coop, happy to leave eggs at the cabin upon request. Our cabin is nestled in the pines and is close to the city center and restaurants. You’ll love our cabin because of the cozy feel, outdoor space, fireplace, jacuzzi, & hip decor. The master bedroom with queen bed is on the ground floor, as is the bonus bed, in a nook just around the corner from the living room. Just up the ladder is the loft, with a queen bed and TV. A Zen retreat on a quiet dead end street, 4 mins drive from downtown. Perfect for a retreat, a quiet romantic get away for two, or for a family, or four close freinds. Enjoy nature, relax and see the cute town! This is a mid century private home with nice amenities, not a usual rental unit. The street is beautiful & backs up to a national forrest. There is another cabin next to this one, that sleeps two, that I also rent. NO Partiers! Quiet Hrs 10pm-7am.
