The delicious and award-winning goat's cheese that won the "World Cheese Awards" in October 2023 is produced 50 metres from the cottage. From mid-July, the goats are the closest neighbours to the cabin. Here you will also find Northern Europe's oldest and smallest stave church, built in 1147.

The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need for washing dishes and cooking. The balcony has a seating area and a lovely view over Tyinvannet. Nice cross-country skiing opportunities right from the apartment. Parking in the basement.

The house has its own garden with outdoor furniture. We do the cleaning ourselves and make sure everything is clean. Bed linen comes from the laundry. The house is small and charming with a relaxing atmosphere. Quiet area where it is nice to go for walks on the road or along the river. Nice marked trails up the mountainsides are also nearby. "Eldhuset" was built in 2004 with all modern qualities. There are heating cables in the floor, a private terrace, a great wood-fired bakery oven and a cultivation area just outside. The house has a bedroom and loft. Just outside the door you will find popular hiking and biking trails. 6 min drive to Sogndal city center, 4 min away is Kaupanger city center with grocery store and ViteMeir center, nice for all ages! 2 min away you will find a swimming pool, playground and gym.

Flåm Retreat's minihouse is a sustainable and exclusive cabin designed by Snøhetta, with a focus on reducing human impact on nature. Enjoy panoramic views of Flåmsdalen, tranquility, and some of the world’s most stunning scenery. The mini-house has two double beds and sleeps four comfortably. A fifth guest can use the sofa bed for NOK 250. From May to September, we require a 2-night minimum stay. Single-night gaps will be released as they become available.

It is a short distance to Flåm with Flåmsbana and Flåm zip-line, the world heritage area Vestnorsk Fjordlandskap Nærøyfjorden, the Viking village in Gudvangen and beautiful Aurlandsdalen. There is a road to the door, while the cabin is located in the middle of a great hiking terrain.
