Croft House Bothy in Heart of Highlands

Ideally situated for exploring the hills and mountains round about. The bridge to the Isle of Skye is only 1 mile away and the hills of Kintail are within easy reach at about 15 miles. The quaint, picturesque village of Plockton is close by and the historic Eilean Donan Castle 8 miles away.

The Bay is a stylish 1 bedroom apartment situated metres from the shore on the edge of Broadford Bay. It has an open plan fully equipped kitchen/living room which opens out onto a private decking area. The kitchen has a hob, oven & microwave, an under counter fridge with small icebox. Though annexed to the main house it has its own private entrance and parking. The bedroom has a king sized bed with luxurious linen bedding, the ensuite has a generous sized walk in rainfall shower..

Falasgair is a modern cabin on a working croft, which captures uninterrupted views over Portree bay, Ben Tianavaig and the Cuillin hills in the far distance. The cabin itself has a full height atrium which includes a functional kitchenette, seating area, log-burner and a three-piece bathroom suite. The mezzanine level is accessed by a wooden staircase featuring a comfortable double bed. Situated just off the Scorrybreach trail this is the perfect launchpad for your Skye adventure.

Hollybank is located in the pretty Skye village of Kyleakin. Hollybank is an excellent base for touring Skye and the surrounding area: Eilean Donan Castle, Plockton, Applecross, the Glenelg Brochs, and many more. We have recently bought and renovated this lovely house which is next door to our own home so we are on hand to provide recommendations and assist you in making the most of your time in the beautiful Skye and Lochalsh area.

Kyleakin is on the shores of Loch Alsh, with the iconic Skye Bridge (and magnificent sunsets) to your left. To your right, views past the 15th Century Castle Moil, looking down Loch Alsh to the rugged Hills of Kintail, (with beautiful sunrises!) We have a lovely garden surrounding the property.
