FredrikLars farm by Nordmarksbergs Herrgård

FredrikLars-gården next to Nordmarksberg Manor: 19th century or older. In this farm the great inventor John Ericsson's grandfather Nils (b. 1747 – d. 1790) is said to have lived. On a stone in the foundation of the courtyard should be a carving with Nils name. Picture of this stone can be found in the Värmland archive's foot archive on a picture from 1955 (photo Lennart Thelander, pictures SEVA_11229_36 and SEVA_11230-1), but has not been found in the present. It's probably hidden by mortar covered over the rocks.

The grand piano is perfect for couples, small families, or those seeking retreat with soul and nature.

Welcome to our cottage with 5 beds. Balcony overlooking Lake Usken. You will enjoy the farm's beach with your own dock with boat and furnished terrace. The cottage stands on our farm with your own secluded garden Uskavi camping a few hundred meters away at walking and boating distance with cafe, lunch restaurant and mini golf. On the property, a cat lives and horses are in paddocks around. Leave the cottage in the same condition as when you arrived.

The house is located in the middle of the forest, it is very quiet and peaceful. Perfect for getting away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. There are 3 lakes within 20 minutes walking distance and there are more than enough opportunities for walking, cycling, mountain biking, swimming, boating, motorcycling, etc. Open canoes (2) and the hot tub are available for rent. Charcoal is available for purchase.
