The area around Grasbakken is a favorite area for seabirds. In addition to seabirds, the area is known to be a hotspot for marine mammals such as seals and whales. Reindeer and elk also graze close to the buildings. The nature around Grasbakken is both raw and beautiful - an arctic landscape where the sea plays an important role in the ecosystem.

Jaquzzi følger med i leien. Jaquzzi er tilgjengelig fra Oktober til Mai , om sommeren er jaquzzi stengt av. ( mai- sept) Parkering rett ved huset. Huset er på ca 30 kvm. Om sommeren er det gårdscamping på området, fra Mai til September.
