Harben Cottage is a 150 year old traditional stone cottage - 5mins drive from the Heritage Town of Ardara (20mins walk). Set amongst lush green hills & sitting next to a bubbling mountain stream. A mixture of new and old; low doorways, a turf fireplace, water supplied from a mountain spring, but also a gas cook top, oven, microwave, WIFI, & central heating. NB: that the toilet & shower are housed in outside annex - this may not suit everyone but adds a touch of authenticity for the brave!

Dora’s cottage is located in Malinmore, Glencolumbkille on the spectacular Slieve League Peninsula. The village is surrounded by mountains, lakes, rocky sea cliffs, wildlife and sandy beaches. Dora’s cottage is a short distance from Malinmore pier and has beautiful coastal walks. The cottage has been lovingly restored and in keeping with the charm of an old cottage style. All the modern day comforts of WiFi, Netflix, oil central heating and modern bathroom make for a comfortable stay.

Set in an acre of land in a secluded position between Ardara and Glenties, looking over the Owenea river towards the mountains of mid-Donegal, this unspoilt traditional cottage has a log/turf fire and oil fired range, gas cooker, fridge, shower and bath. The river is popular with salmon fishermen and walkers and West Donegal's spectacular beaches and hill country are within easy reach, as are many excellent restaurants, pubs and intriguing touring destinations.

This is an ideal place to settle into for a night or two and return to each evening after visiting the beautiful Donegal countryside. There are wonderful views from the cottage of Sleive League (Sliabh Liag) beyond.
