You can stay in a tatami mat room in Kashihara City, Nara Prefecture, located in a quiet residential neighborhood. It is located on the border between Osaka and Nara prefectures, and provides convenient access to both areas. By train, it is about 40 minutes to Namba and Tennoji, about 50 minutes to Umeda, about 70 minutes to USJ, about 50 minutes to Nara, about 90 minutes to Kyoto, and about 90 minutes to Kansai Airport. The convenience store is just a 3-minute walk. My mother lives in the house. The host usually lives in Europe and can respond in English. This is a private whole-house rental in a quiet residential area near Horyu-ji, a World Heritage site in Nara. The tatami bedroom has two beds, with extra futons available (up to 3 guests). The rooms are on the second floor, while the host sleeps downstairs. Feel free to join the host for a drink in the evening during dinner time. JR train station is only 15min by car or 20min by bus. From there you can easily access Osaka (18min), Nara city (15min) and Kyoto (1 hour) for a day trip!

The nearest station is Oji Station on the JR Line (18 minutes from Osaka Tennoji Station). It is about a 20-minute bus ride from Oji Station. If you are coming by train, we will pick you up at the nearest station. The last pick-up time is 7:00 PM. After that, please use the bus. There is a lovely hot spring nearby, or you can walk there. There is a barbecue facility in the garden. Convenient access to Kyoto, Osaka, Nara, Koyasan, and Yoshino.
