Our cottage is located at the banks of the Yuhara River, at the banks of the Uenbara River. Speaking of Gifu, Shirakawa-go and Hida Takayama are famous, but Enhara is also an inconvenient place in the mountains, but it is nice. The landscape of the mountains and rivers is beautiful, and it is a natural place where monkeys and deer appear. The Enhara River is a landmark of Japan's most beautiful underwater water and light, and the inn is located about 800 meters from the spring water point of underwater, so the transparency of the water is excellent. You can also see the light from the inn. On a summer morning, you can see a magical view of sunlight from among the trees due to weather conditions. The water in the Enhara River is cold, but in the summer, the children are playing in the river energetically. Temperatures drop a lot in the river, so even those who escape the heat and cool off. There are a few river play spots a little downstream, and the water is crystal clear and it is nice to swim beautifully. The water in the river shines a little deep in emerald green, the rock and moss landscape is fantastic, and it is a healing spot where the mind is purified. There is a river-facing deck on the second floor of the inn, so you can BBQ while watching the river, swaying in the hammock while listening to the river, and relaxing in the tent sauna.

When I was busy working as an interior coordinator, I wanted you to have a relaxing time, and I wanted to recreate the rich and relaxing time I spent at my grandmother's house as a child. The quaint and retro atmosphere unique to the old house is arranged in a living room. Nearby, you can enjoy a walk in the Kawaramachi area, which is lined with renovated machiya cafes and bakeries, and the Nagara River, which is famous for Ukai (Ukai is from May to October). It is a charming area with lots of nature and fields. Experience the nostalgic life of real Japan, not Japan that was made. We will rent one building, so please have a relaxing time with your family, partners, and groups. The convenience store is about a 4-minute drive away. The supermarket is about an 8-minute drive away. Miyama House is a guest house made by renovating an old wooden house that was no longer in use. The entire house is rented out, so families and groups of friends can use it as if it were their own home. Meals are not provided, but you can enjoy cooking in the open kitchen where everyone can gather. The exterior of the building looks old, but the interior is stylish when you open the front door. The interior is finished with natural materials such as wood and plaster, and the insulation is perfect, making it a safe and comfortable space. The reason why we made it so carefully is that we are carpenters who specialize in wooden architecture. We've created an ideal space with a sense of fun, and we'd love for you to experience it. We want you to have a relaxing time, so check-in is from 10 am and check-out is by 3 pm. You can stay up to 29 hours. You can also use it with your pets. However, due to space constraints, please limit your pet to a medium-sized dog, and use a cage during your stay. Please refrain from letting your pets run loose in the room or leaving them alone in the room.

Cozy, Clean, Convenient & quiet home in Gifu

I came to Gifu in 2018, I think it was it’s unpretentiousness that attracted me . The people here seem relaxed and easy going, hospitable and very much in love with their hometown which in the Gifu park area retains much of the (Kyoto like) feeling of traditional Japan with it’s castle and a host of well maintained shrines. I don't think many people have heard of Gifu, even Japanese people, inspite of the Great heritage sights like Shirakawago, beautiful mountains and clear water rivers!

"Moegi" is an old folk house lodging along the Nakasendo in Gifu. We renovated a 60-year-old, 150㎡ old private house to create a private lodging where you can relax. "Moegi" is the name of a traditional Japanese color. It was named to wish for a "good start'' and "child's growth.'' There is a playroom of approximately 32 m² for children. Don't worry if you can't go sightseeing due to rain. There are also many sightseeing spots in the area, making it an ideal base for sightseeing.
