Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway in the midst of pristine nature. The cottage is located in a small village in the middle of the Lapland wilderness. Here you can enjoy skiing, snowshoeing and fishing. In addition, we organize snowmobile trips according to your wishes. The cottage is about 75 km from the city of Rovaniemi. Ice fishing trip €40 per person, 1-2h. Sausage roasting on a campfire €40 per person. Northern Lights trip €60 per person. Sled safari €90 per person 2h. You can make a reservation by message.

Coiwula

The rush stops at the bridge crossing Kitinen, when the village landscape opens up on the front left. Fields with thatched roofs and haylofts create a feeling of time stopping. Koivula's house is located in the historically valuable village of Suvanto, where the oldest buildings are from the late 19th century. Here, if anywhere, you can hear your own thoughts, and nature is just a step away Pelkosenniemi municipal center and Pyhätunturi activities in both summer and winter are about 20 minutes' drive away.

Authentic, renovated & spacious house in Lapland

Enjoy our traditional and cosy house in a typical Lappish village, while be surrounded by nature. A good place to observe Northern Lights, see reindeer and experience different activities, such as skiing, ice fishing, and snowmobiling in winter months. The house is located conveniently by E63 road and a 30-minute drive from Pyhä-Luosto National Park. During summer, you can fish in the river, choose from multiple hiking trails and enjoy midnight sun.

Saint Igloos igloo

Our igloos are 32m² in size and can accommodate two to four persons. The motorized double bed is directly under the glass ceiling. Separate extra beds are made from the sofa. All igloos are equipped with a toilet and a shower, a TV, a drying cabinet for outdoor clothing. All rooms have a well-equipped kitchenette with a fridge, cooking hobs, dinnerware and cutlery, a kettle, a coffee maker, a microwave oven and a dishwasher.

Riekonsop, two-bedroom cottage in Pyhä.

Welcome to a wonderful holiday in Riekonsoppe, at the foot of Pyhätunturi. The cottage is in a quiet area, but close to services and hiking trails. In winter, you are close to ski trails, ski slopes and downhill terrain. Pyhän Pohjoisrinteet are only 1 km away and Luosto is less than 20 km away. In spring, summer and autumn, you can go directly from the cottage to the hiking trails of Pyhä-Luosto National Park.

An atmospheric house on the shore of the Kemijoki River

The naturally beautiful Kemijoki beach is about an hour's drive from Rovaniemi, 65 km towards Kuusamo. I recommend renting a car. Fully equipped 75 m2 cottage with two bedrooms, kitchen, sauna, bathroom, porch and terrace. There is a beach near the cottage (about 700 m). Opportunities for snowmobiling, fishing, berry picking and hunting, as well as hiking. There is a boat launch about 1.2 km away.

Charming cottage with all amenities on a large plot. The centre of Rovaniemi is only about 25 km away. Santa's workshop or the airport is also about 25km away. No public transport. The roads are well maintained even in winter. The cottage is easy to get to. If you wish, we can arrange transport with a Mercedes Benz Vito car for an additional fee.
