Opening July 27, 2024! Polar House Minami Karuizawa 2 (Lake Garden) is a 300-square-foot Finnish log house located in the Lake New Town villa area. The area is popular as Karuizawa's best walking course, full of rose gardens, souvenir shops, restaurants, and elaborate events. The charm of the cottage is the luxurious tiled floors, wood-burning stove, and the atrium space decorated with an imported chandelier that rises to the second floor. There is a kitchen and a bath with a bathtub on the first floor, and four bedrooms, a shower room, and a second living room with natural light coming in through the large windows on the second floor.
