The place is close to the river, paddy farms, wildlife and tribal villages . You’ll love the place because of the view, hospitality and the serene surroundings. The place is good for couples, solo adventurers, families (with kids), and furry friends (pets). Small groups of 2/3 could even look at this listing which is in the same farm https://www.airbnb.co.in/rooms/16374009?guests=1&adults=1
“We had an excellent stay for 4 nights. The rooms were comfortable and clean, and there was a kitchen with all appurtenances where we could "do our own thing" - we restricted ourselves to making tea and coffee, but you could go beyond this too. Rising high above all these creature comforts was the natural beauty of the immediate surroundings. The sheer variety of birds visiting the place made every morning and evening something to look forward to. This place is a must for nature lovers, not necessarily ornithologists. The garden, or rather the farm in which the homestay is located, has everything that a "city slicker" like me could hope to see - an incredible variety of trees which include the usual mango and jackfruit, not to mention orange, chikoo, sweet lime, custard apple, pista, almond, nutmeg, areca nut and of course the ubiquitous pepper. There's an excellent display of flowers as well. The host Mr. Babu Philip gave us stuff from this garden - I was introduced to a new fruit, the "cherry guava" for the first time. There's a excellent vegetable farm as well. In fact, the place is so good that you can spend three days pottering around in the farm and still not feel bored. You don't need to go anywhere, the farm has so much to see. Mr. Babu Philip also arranged our travel to nearby places, and ensured that we were charged reasonably by the auto and cab wallahs HIGHLY recommended”
Overlooking the Kabani river, Riverloft is aptly placed for a thorough nature experience. Suitable for any group of upto 5 members maximum. The cottage has one room with a loft, a balcony and a private bathroom. The lower bed can accommodate upto 3 people and the attic/loft bed upto 2. Children will enjoy the variety in the mixed farm and the thrill by the river. Could do your fishing too. Adults can enjoy a relaxed day on the hammock with their book and coffee. A game of cards on the cozy attic, an evening drink on the balcony and barbecue by the campfire with your loved ones, will surely complete the experience. Cottage is within a fenced 2 acre farm. You may leave aside worries of how secure the place is. Cheers.
“This is an amazing place to stay while you're in Wayanad district. The loft looks better in person and is beautifully and thoughtfully designed. It's adequately stocked and has everything needed for a pleasant stay. The loft overlooks the Kabani river and there's a private entrance to the riverbank. The best part is certainly Manu and his family's warm hospitality. They'll also give you helpful suggestions about places to visit in Wayanad. I highly recommend this lovely place for your Wayanad trip.”
Resorted and Renovated our 1946 Ancestral home without altering its architecture. The place is covered with tropical plants and you overlook the green fields. Excellent weekend getaway if your looking for a PEACEFUL time covering yourself within the flora and fauna of WAYANAD. There is an ATTIC to play cards or where kids can sleep with soothing lights. There is a lush green playground also called as OKKUNALAM in the traditional language. I promise to take you back to the 90's come be a RETRO!
“PW Villa is a heritage property built in 1946, surrounded by beautiful paddy fields, flowers, birds, and trees. We were a group of 6 people who stayed here for 3 days. The place was clean and it was a pleasant stay. There are beautiful hand-drawn wall paintings in every room. We were served homemade Kerala style breakfast which was yummy. This place is easily accessible by road and you can follow the map to reach here. You can visit a lot of places nearby like - Banasura dam - World’s largest natural dam, Wildlife sanctuary, 1000-year-old temple, and Edakkal caves. We spotted few elephants, deers, and bison while driving to these places. There are many adventure activities to do as well like - Wayanad’s longest zipline, Speed boat drive, Bamboo river rafting, and many more. I would recommend staying here for 3-4 days at least to enjoy in and around the area to the fullest. This place is for those who want to take a break from the city noise, crowd, pollution, and enjoy the silence and nature. Subin, Zubin, and Sachin - I can’t thank you all enough for constantly checking if everything was perfect, for responding quickly, and for your hospitality. Sachin, thanks so much for dropping by every morning, helping us plan the visit to tourist areas nearby, and for arranging the cake for my sister’s birthday. Will visit again :)”
