In the beautiful, mostly fog-free Ybrig and the surrounding area, you will find everything you need to enjoy your holidays, e.g. skiing in the nearby ski resort Hoch-Ybrig and Oberiberg, cross-country skiing in the neighbouring village Studen-Unteriberg, snowshoeing. Bike and hiking tours, as well as swimming in the indoor pool Unteriberg or the Alpamare in Pfäffikon-Schwyz, which can be reached from us in 30 minutes by car.

The sheepfold is not currently accessible by car (you have to walk 400 m) and it does not have water from the network, it is powered by tank water with a pump for common use; to drink: we provide mineral water. For the rest, the view is superb, calm and serenity, the sheepfold is located at an altitude of 1,200 meters in the heart of the natural park of the Haut Jura and on the Great Crossing of the Jura. Lovers of nature sports guaranteed.

Shepherd's hut in the heart of nature

This stone hut was rebuilt on the remains of an old Berger hut. It is located in the middle of a meadow but accessible by car via a white path. There is no electricity or running water. The kitchen side includes a gas stove, a sink where rainwater arrives for the dishes. We provide a 10 L jerrycan of drinking water. An outdoor solar shower is available, otherwise washing is done with a washcloth. Dry toilet outside the cabin.
