Located in the Serra da Estrela, a few kilometers from Penhas Douradas, in an area of Castles and Historic Villages, where it is possible to hike along marked trails, venture into Paragliding (in the neighboring Historic Village of Linhares) or cool off on the river beaches of Mondego and (website hidden) region, the gastronomic offer maintains the authenticity of the old times, with dishes such as kid with míscaros, Carqueja rice, river fish in escabeche and black pudding with sprouts, not to mention the rye bread, the excellent olive oil and the Dão wine.
