We hand built this 2400 sq.ft home/cabin with local pine logs, these timbers that form the main structure of this cabin are hand notched and stacked local pine. We did most of the work and designing on this and were able to put a personal touch to the work inside and out. NOTE!!!This is a rustic place with modern convenience, (Knotty hickory cabinets, Pebble and tile showers, Bamboo floors, Local, pine, log exterior walls, Tulip popular interior, Log and barn wood furniture. Cottage by the Creek is a 600 sq ft converted grain barn built in the early 1900's. We've converted the space into a light and bright one bedroom, with a loft. There is a fully functional kitchen and custom bath with tile shower. The 30 ft front porch offers views of the cattle farm across the street and the year round flowing creek. Or enjoy the back patio with hot in and fire pit.

Blackwood Cabin

Our cabin is tucked back in the woods just minutes from Loretta Lynn’s Ranch and I40. It’s easy to get to but still feels private and quiet. Guests love sitting on the porch swing with a cup of coffee in the mornings, and soaking in the hot tub at night under the trees. It’s a peaceful spot to relax, unwind, and just enjoy being away from the noise for a bit.
