The space
IMPORTANT !!!
PLEASE READ AS MUCH INFORMATION AS POSSIBLE SO THAT THERE ARE NO MISUNDERSTANDINGS! GOOD FOR YOU, GOOD FOR US.
The Terrace Room is small, but very beautiful. It has a large glass front and a private terrace with a unique view of the sunset over Marrakech. The private roof terrace is planted with cacti bougainvillea and flowering lianas and has a large awning and comfortable loungers with thick mattresses, so you can sleep under the open sky, because in our area it is very quiet and apart from the birds or the neighbours' roosters, the most you hear is the call of the muezzins. It is furnished in the traditional style with artfully painted furniture in the Marakshi style. Own shower and toilet directly attached to the room.
Patio with small clean filtered pool to refresh after a busy day in the city, lounge with TV and fireplace open for all guests, printer, free wifi in the lounge and on the terrace (however reception not always good in all rooms due to the thick walls). Two large roof terraces, one even with pergola and high terrace with incomparable view over the whole city and the high Atlas. Shower, toilet, comfortable sun loungers and parasols on the terrace at the free disposal of our guests.
Our Riad is located in the absolute heart of the Medina of Marrakech, very quiet and safe. Rich breakfast for 4.5 €. We serve cool and hot drinks on the patio or terrace. The house has a pleasant living climate thanks to its metre-thick walls, but if it should still be too cold or too hot, we can turn on the air conditioning or heating for the comfort of our guests if necessary for € 4per day. (Electricity is very expensive in Morocco, as it is mainly generated from renewable resources). This makes our house one of the few "year-round suitable" in this price category. Free internet and TV in the lounge and on the terrace are of course free of charge, although the WLAN does not work equally well in all private rooms because of the thick walls.
We organise reliable transfers from the airport (15 € during the day / 20 € at night), bus and train tickets, arrange other accommodation in Morocco and excursions (e.g. Essaouira, desert, oases, trekking). We are insiders and give you valuable information in advance in German as a PDF and we know the best and most typical and cheapest restaurants, clubs and even a hidden local beer garden in the middle of Guiliz. We also arrange good and cheap rental cars for you.
In short: We make your start in Marrakech as easy and pleasant as possible.

As we work within the law, we are obliged to register our guests and collect the tourism tax for the municipality of Marrakech. It amounts to 25 Dirham per day. This tax is collected on site. There are Airbnb hosts who waive the registration. However, this is illegal and irresponsible towards the guests, because if you have an accident, are robbed or otherwise come into a police check, they will check where you are staying, and if you are not registered, both you and we will be fined heavily, which can go as far as an entry ban!

Guest access

Other things to note
As we work in the legality we are obliged to register our guests and raise the tourism taxes for the community of Marrakech. It is 25 dirhams a day. This tax is collected locally. There are Airbnb hosts that do not log in. However, this is illegal and irresponsible to the guests, because if you have an accident, be robbed or otherwise come to a police control, you will be checked where you live and if you are not registered both you and we will be subject to a severe penalty that can go right up to the entry ban!

During your stay

I myself am often in Marrakech, but Lucien and Zineb, a young Moroccan, lovingly take care of our guests, make a delicious breakfast, organize reliable airport transfers or trips to the desert, the mountains or the sea. Both are excellent cooks and prepare delicious African or Moroccan dishes on pre-order. Zineb also offers cooking classes. We also have an interesting little library of books that are interesting for morocco-travelers. I'm always on the phone to ask questions.
