Holwell Holistic Retreat is a magical and serene farmstead steeped in history and character. We have peaceful accommodation in the main farmhouse with guest living and dining areas, a popular Yoga centre in our converted eco barn, holistic therapy rooms, wood-fired sauna (on request with prior booking only please) , arts and creative workshop space, music jamming area, five acres of wild and wonderful grounds to explore, a big organic vegetable garden and our very own stone circle!

Welcome!

The space
Room 3 is cozy and light, with an east-facing sash window overlooking the peaceful courtyard below. The en-suite bathroom includes a bath with shower, toilet and sink. We include eco toiletries.

We are passionate about health and wellness, we consider ourselves as a wellness BnB and Yoga retreat! We have created this space to offer our guests a thoroughly peaceful and restorative stay, away from city and busy life, and closer to nature and the relaxed simplicity that comes with it. A tech and social media detox is easy to accomplish here, but you can hook you up to WiFi on request. We can sometimes offer Yoga and meditation sessions and top quality holistic massage and therapies for you to book when you fancy. However, we will need notice please and cannot guarantee it will always be possible.

Guest access
Guests entrance to the main farmhouse leads straight upstairs to the bedrooms or right into the guest's lounge and breakfast room beyond that. During your stay, feel welcome to wander the grounds, enjoying the natural spaces and soaking up some sun in one of the sun-traps. There is a stone circle, an orchard and a big veg patch to look, and a beautiful conservation woodland to get lost in.

This is a DIY breakfast where we leave you muesli, granola, milk, bread for toast, spread, jam, marmalade and tea and coffee and juice. I'm afraid we dont offer a cooked breakfast or use of our kitchen.

We are well situated just fifteen minutes from Barnstaple and Ilfracombe and even closer to the beautiful village of Berrynarbour and the coast that way. A few minutes more and you'll get to all the local sweet spot beaches such as Woolacombe, Croyde and Lee.
We are just minutes from the gates of Exmoor National Park.
There are plenty of amazing pubs and restaurants nearby and we can point you in the direction of our favourites.
