This house is an ideal base to explore the hidden gem that is the North East of England; discover the Durham Dales and Northumberland, visit the nearby cities of Newcastle/Sunderland, or, even closer 10 mins drive from Beamish Museum. Countryside views from every window, the surrounding grounds and woodlands are peaceful and relaxing.

Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space in the beautiful little hamlet. Cottage has got everything you need and king size bed is the most comfiest you would find anywhere. We got a lot of walking and cycle routes right next tonthe cottage. Newcastle City and Durham City is about 15 minutes from the property. Our luxury cottages are perfectly placed for tranquility and adventure set in the beautiful countryside of North West Durham. Only 20 minutes drive will take you to the world heritage site of Durham City and 30 minutes into Newcastle, with the most welcoming of Geordie hospitality. Both cities are noted for their stunning architecture along with superb restaurants and traditional pubs. There are many local attractions for all ages within a good walk or a short drive.

This little oasis of green is in a super handy location on the edge of the greenbelt, yet near the Team Valley, Metrocentre and Newcastle. There's a bus stop directly outside, with buses into central Newcastle every 30min in the day. Watergate Forest Park is right next door, with a fantastic cafe, lake, swans & lots of other wildlife. We're only a couple of miles from the C2C cycle route, with easy access to lots of other cycle routes & walks.

It is a short walk to Gosforth High Street which has a range of restaurants, cafes, a park and shops, there is also an ASDA supermarket and M&S Food just a five minute walk away.. We’re doing all we can to ensure you have a safe & enjoyable visit. The flat has its own private entrance and is located on the same grounds as the hosts’ main house. The flat is located in the Heaton area of Newcastle with lots of trendy award winning cafes, bars and restaurants located nearby. The bijou flat is ideal for a couple or very close friends.

The Annexe

The Annexe is self contained at the rear of Pontop Hall with its own single parking space. The Hall is a grade 2* Listed Building, built as early as 1600. Recently restored the property has all the modern comforts you would expect in a home. You can enjoy a tranquil environment with some excellent walks on your doorstep and in the local area.
