FredrikLars farm by Nordmarksbergs Herrgård

FredrikLars-gården next to Nordmarksberg Manor: 19th century or older. In this farm the great inventor John Ericsson's grandfather Nils (b. 1747 – d. 1790) is said to have lived. On a stone in the foundation of the courtyard should be a carving with Nils name. Picture of this stone can be found in the Värmland archive's foot archive on a picture from 1955 (photo Lennart Thelander, pictures SEVA_11229_36 and SEVA_11230-1), but has not been found in the present. It's probably hidden by mortar covered over the rocks.

There is a small cabin during summer time with 2 beds that can be rented for a fee of SEK 350/day. Cleaning for a fee. Bed linen/towels for a fee. Du kannst in dem See baden, angeln, in der umgebenden Natur wandern, Fahrrad fahren, auf der Veranda direkt am See lesen oder einfach nur den Ausblick genießen und die Seele baumeln lassen. Welcome to our cottage with 5 beds. Balcony overlooking Lake Usken. You will enjoy the farm's beach with your own dock with boat and furnished terrace. The cottage stands on our farm with your own secluded garden Uskavi camping a few hundred meters away at walking and boating distance with cafe, lunch restaurant and mini golf. On the property, a cat lives and horses are in paddocks around. Leave the cottage in the same condition as when you arrived.

Quiet location in small genuine village. Close to forest and swimming lakes. 20 km to the picturesque town of Nora. The house shares land with a larger house where the landlord lives. Possibility to borrow rowing boat.
