The serene ambiance and stunning scenery will make you feel instantly relaxed. In the evening, enjoy a glass of wine as you watch the vibrant sunset paint the sky.

Dogwood Cabin on Scenic Wooded Mossbridge Farm

Our two cabins Dogwood and Holly are located on a quiet, wooded 10 acre retreat that is 8 miles from Athens. Our special feature is a spring fed creek that flows year round and has it's own micro climate that is perfect for native ferns, mixed hardwood forest and dogwoods. We have provided a nature trail for bird watching and exercise. Recently we designed and constructed a beautiful pond with three waterfalls and a deck overhanging the water with chairs for enjoying our private paradise.

This little cabin is surprisingly roomy inside and has a kitchenette equipped with dishes, a toaster oven, a microwave, and a fridge/freezer. There is a comfy, XL twin bed with/ clean, sheets & blankets. There is a shower, toiletries & large towels. A perfect spot to stay when visiting the Cedar Creek, Canton & Athens areas & are looking for a quiet place to lay your head. We have wifi & local channels on the TV. We have clean, fresh water, from a deep aquifer, straight from the tap!

There is a clubhouse & 4 other cabins available for rent on the property if you are looking for a special occasion destination at The Chrestos. The home is fully stocked so all you need is clothing and food.

Honeymooners delight in the gorgeous sunrises and sunsets on the lake! Very quiet, private spot. But close enough to stroll to Lake Palestine Resort to get a delicious meal and listen to a live band on the weekends. Bring your fishing gear! Lake Palestine is great fishing! Reconnect with nature at this unforgettable escape. This tree house is sitting on stilts among trees where a beautiful oak tree comes through the elevated outside dining patio area. The tree house is located on our 15 acres of wooded property with approx. 1 mile in walking trails in the woods on the property for exploring and observing wildlife. Our guests frequently notice our deer and other woodland creatures who share this space with us.
