Cancel or withdraw a trip request
Need to add another guest or change the dates of your reservation before it’s confirmed? Here are a few things to know.
When you can cancel or withdraw a request
First, check the status of your request. If the Host has already accepted it, then it’s subject to their cancellation policy. If it’s still pending, you can cancel and you won’t be charged for the reservation or the service fees.
How to cancel or withdraw a request
The simplest way is to find the message thread with your Host and select Withdraw request.
Cancel a reservation request on desktop
- Click Trips and select the reservation you want to change
- For a reservation that says Pending, click Withdraw request
- Click Cancel request
