My neighbour is an Airbnb host. What do I need to know?
We consider neighbours a part of the Airbnb community. Here's some information about our service, and a way for you to share any concerns with us.
Airbnb takes trust seriously
We're committed to helping our community build and maintain trust. That's why we've provided tools to help our community make the right decisions when it comes to hosting or travelling. Read more about our Trust and Safety initiatives.
Airbnb encourages responsibility
We encourage hosts to think carefully about their responsibilities. We understand that hosting comes with a commitment to neighbours and to the community. Read more about our take on responsible hosting.
Neighbours can report concerns directly to Airbnb
We know that issues can arise. If your neighbour is an Airbnb host and you want to report a disturbance – whether that’s excessive noise, a disruptive party, or unsafe behaviour – visit Airbnb's Neighbourhood Support page, which provides a link to local emergency services and our Neighbourhood Support team phone number. Once an issue is reported, we’ll send you a confirmation email explaining what happens next.
