When are codes active?
Guest codes are automatically active during the guest’s entire stay. You can adjust your listing’s check-in or checkout times when setting up your smart lock. If a guest needs early check-in or late checkout, you can adjust their reservation and their code will update to match the new times.
When do codes expire?
By default, guest codes expire 30 minutes after checkout. You can change this window to anywhere from 15 minutes to 2 hours after your listing’s checkout time. This extra time is not shown to guests, but it helps prevent them from being locked out if they are running late.
