Sandsøy - our island paradise outside Harstad

Sandsøy is the place for recreation and tranquility. The location of the house provides immediate access to hiking trails suitable for all ages. The house is located by the sea with fantastic views of Senja and the ocean and is the ultimate place to enjoy the midnight sun in the summer and Northern Lights in the winter. The house is from 1930 but has been significantly upgraded in recent years. Sandsøy is part of the arch with bridge to Grytøya and tunnel to Bjarkøy. Great spots with opportunities for top tours and exciting excursions in the Tore Hund kingdom.

Spacious and homely apartment in a quiet neighborhood south of the city center. Driving time from Evenes Airport is about 40 min. Stangnes Ferry dock is just nearby. Shopping center (Amfi Kanebogen) and grocery store are in the immediate vicinity. Free parking. EV charging possible by appointment. A hiking trail to Gangsåstoppen starts 50 meters from the apartment. This 30 minute trip is recommended to all. There you get an amazing view of the city and the surrounding islands. The apartment is private with own entrance.

A unique experience close to nature. Our cabin is situated in untouched wilderness, close to lakes, valleys and mountains. Unlimited fishing and hiking potential. 35 minutes drive from airport & Harstad, 2.5 hours from Lofoten. Road access and free parking by the cabin. 10 minutes drive to grocery store & the sea. Get away from the busy day to day life and experience a unique off-grid cabin by the lake with a rowboat and canoe 🛶 Fishing from your own boat in the midnight sun, watching the northern lights by a campfire, going hiking, berry picking or canoeing. This is the perfect place to do it all. Even though the cabin is off-grid, you can still enjoy modern amenities. A wooden fireplace keeps the place nice and warm, while the lake provides all the water you will need.

New cabin with midnight sun located right on the shore of South Senja. Great location to see the Northern lights out over the lake in the direction of Andøya. New nearby Wildlife Shop, several hiking trails, Kvitemuseum, National Park, inland and sea fishing, boat rental nearby. 2 hours by car from Bardufoss airport. 1 hour drive to Finnsnes. 1 hour by fast boat to Harstad. 3 mattresses on top of the loft in addition to the two bedrooms. Several kilometers of forest roads for walking. In winter, we have created a suitable fire pit to enjoy the Northern Lights that often beautifully dances across the sky.
