Our small, cozy family cabin is located in the middle of the butter at the foot of Hardangervidda. 5 min walk to the convenience store there is also a fast charge for electric car. The cabin has electricity and water. The cabin is located on the sunny side of the valley and you can enjoy a cup of coffee on the terrace with a lovely view. Remember to bring hiking shoes because here you will find endless opportunities for amazing mountain hikes. In the winter you can go skiing and slide right down the ski slopes of Sysendalen. The cabin is best suited for up to 5 people.

There is a short distance to Geilo and Ustaoset in the east, and Hardanger in the west. The cabin has nature right outside the door, and you can use the countless trails and tracks in the area

About 500 meters down to the village center where you find restaurants, shops, grocery store, Ægir brewery and pub, Fjordsafari, Fjord Sauna and Flåm railway. The apartment is perfect for couples or families. We have 3 separate bedrooms. Bedroom 1 has a kingsize bed (180x200 cm), bedroom 2 has two single beds, and bedroom 3 has one single bed. Flåm Retreat's minihouse is a sustainable and exclusive cabin designed by Snøhetta, with a focus on reducing human impact on nature. Enjoy panoramic views of Flåmsdalen, tranquility, and some of the world’s most stunning scenery. The mini-house has two double beds and sleeps four comfortably. A fifth guest can use the sofa bed for NOK 250. From May to September, we require a 2-night minimum stay. Single-night gaps will be released as they become available.

Our house is located on the way to the Stegastein lookout, so our patio guarantees an astonishing view over the fjord. BBQ available on the premises. 20 minute by walk from Aurland center and for only 100 kr extra we can pick you up from or drive you down directly to the bus station.

Boat must be booked in advance of arrival.
