The cabin has a new bathroom, kitchen, or facility, large terrace and electric car charger. There are many hiking opportunities in the area. The delicious and award-winning goat's cheese that won the "World Cheese Awards" in October 2023 is produced 50 metres from the cottage. From mid-July, the goats are the closest neighbours to the cabin. Here you will also find Northern Europe's oldest and smallest stave church, built in 1147.

Our small, cozy family cabin is located in the middle of the butter at the foot of Hardangervidda. 5 min walk to the convenience store there is also a fast charge for electric car. The cabin has electricity and water. The cabin is located on the sunny side of the valley and you can enjoy a cup of coffee on the terrace with a lovely view. Remember to bring hiking shoes because here you will find endless opportunities for amazing mountain hikes. In the winter you can go skiing and slide right down the ski slopes of Sysendalen. The cabin is best suited for up to 5 people.

It's nice to cycle along the fjord into Agatunet or against Utne with Utne hotel, and Hardanger Folkemuseeum .
