Hiking opportunities in the area are close to endless. Renting a rowboat is agreed at least 1 week BEFORE check-in, to boat experts (only summer). Cozy older barn log cabin on the farm stove is rented. Decent standard. Complete with kitchenware. Small bathroom with toilet, sink, shower cubicle and washing machine The cabin has a double bed in bedroom, and a bunk bed in sleeping alcove. Short distance to Molde city center, about 15 km and about 40 km to Åndalsnes to Åndalsnes. Small convenience store and bus stop about 150m from cabin. Short distance to the sea with beach (approx. 200 meters). Feel free to contact the host if you need to check in!

Charming and rustic barn by the fjord

Welcome to a newly renovated apartment in a charming barn from the 1890s in the heart of Skålvikfjorden. A perfect starting point for forest and mountain trips. Kayak, canoe and SUP can be rented only 100 m away. A small dinghy can also be rented for quiet trips on the fjord. Two bikes are ready to borrow, and a floating sauna fleet is also close by! The climbing park Høyt & Lavt on Valsøya is about 30 minutes away by car, and the nearest grocery store can be found at Halsa Fergekai, about 6 km away.

Wake up to birds singing, take a morning trip on the ocean in the sit-on-top kayak or SUP-boards (included in your stay). Bring your own lunch to the popular mountain «Vågfjellet», and enjoy the amazing view. Say hello to the alpacas on our farm on your way back to the igloo!
