About 25 minutes to Örebro, 15 minutes to Hallsberg and 50 minutes to Tiveden National Park. Pizzeria and unmanned grocery store are located in Östansjö.

Walking distance to forest, 10-15 min car to town, 7 min to lake, golf course and gym. In the garden, during the summer, there is an outdoor area, trampolines, a football pitch, and berry and fruit trees.

Welcome to our lakeside gem with all the amenities! 135 sqm winterized cottage with municipal water and sewage and a fully equipped kitchen. It has everything you need, from a shower, bathtub and washing machine to a TV and board games for rainy days. If it's hot, there is AC and a dock shared with the neighbors a 2-minute walk from the house. In the master bedroom, there is a double bed (180 cm) and a 105-cm bed. In the small bedroom, there is a 140-cm bed. The sofa in the sunroom is easily made into two extra sleeping spots.

Enjoy the large garden with fruit trees, barbecue, outdoor furniture and trampoline. 15-minute walk to a beautiful limestone quarry for swimming and 5 minutes by car to Kumla Golf Club. WiFi, TV with Netflix, air-source heat pumps, wood stove, and fireplace are available. Amenities such as toilet, shower and washing machine and drinking water from our own well. PLEASE NOTE that the ceiling height is about 185 cm in parts of the house!

Enjoy the warm sauna with views over the forest, cool off outside on the large front porch surrounded by the peace and quiet of the forest. With Hallsberg as a starting point, you can quickly reach central Sweden and local attractions such as Örebro, Tiveden, Vättern, Tisaren, the city and nature. 2-3 hours to Stockholm and Gothenburg - also works well by train. Great place to stay if you are going to work in the region - then suitable for two or possibly three people.

There is a convenience store and pizzeria in Åsbro 2 km from the cabin. Several nature reserves and hiking trails are located in the nearby area. By car, you can reach Tiveden National Park in 50 minutes and Fagertärn Nature Reserve in 40 minutes. Unwind in this unique and tranquil space.

The granary

Unwind in this unique and peaceful place to stay. You can still see traces of the building’s past as a grain storehouse from the mid-1800s — like the wide floorboards upstairs. When it was carefully turned into a home in the 2000s, the old loading openings were turned into bay windows to let in more light and offer a view, all while keeping the original timber frame intact. On the farm, you'll find a dog and some friendly sheep, and free-range chickens.
