A stone's throw to the shore and small boat harbor, and a few minutes walk to Hakallegarden visitor farm (check websites), and the beach Sandviksanden. The Hakalle staircase is located right above the cabin, and gives amazing views of the sea and the nearest islands. Perfect starting point for day trips to Vestkapp, Runde, Geiranger, Loen, Ålesund, etc... Approximately 300 meters to the grocery store with everything you need. Electric car charging available in town.

Cabin in the orchard "Borghildbu"

In this place you live at the top of the orchard at the farm Påldtun. Here you can enjoy a nice view of fjords and mountains. There is a short distance to the jetty. Here you can rent a boat and sauna or take a morning swim. You will experience life in the village with grazing animals and work that takes place in the season. When you stay in our orchard you are free to pick and eat the fruit that is on the farm. Short distance to Sandane city center. We accept bookings for mountain trips/fishing trips in our local area. An excellent holiday home by the sea on 2 floors, with a living room, kitchen and bathroom on the 1st floor and a bedroom on the 2nd floor. Large, lovely terraces in the outdoor area with great sunshine. A short distance to the centre of Larsnes. Many walks in the local area, and a short drive to Ulsteinvik, Herøy and Ørsta/Volda. Turn off your phone and relax. At Trollvassbu you are high up in the mountains and far from everyday stress. Trollvassbu has no running water, electricity or telephone coverage. Exotic with an outhouse! Water in the stream, light and heat from paraffin stoves, paraffin lamps and candles. Cooking on gas burners. At Trollvassbu, the days can be slow and the thoughts long-term. After a short time, stress will melt away. The presence of the mountain and the cabin must be experienced – or lived.

Location on Skredestranda, about 3.5 km from Årvik ferry dock, in a quiet and peaceful area. Here you can relax and recharge your batteries. You may be lucky to see a flock of sperm whales in the fjord, or see eagles and deer. Rovdefjorden is a busy fjord for both large and small boats, as well as cruise ships on their way to/from Geiranger. The cabin is located 20 m from the lake, where there are good fishing opportunities (rod). Steep rocks and shallow depths. We have life jackets available.

Birdbox Lotsbergskaara is located at Lote, in Western Norway, at an elevation of 270 metres above sea level. With one of Norway’s most breathtaking views of fjords and mountains, you’ll experience a true sense of quiet luxury and a calm, relaxing stay. While you relax in the comfortable cabin, you might be lucky enough to spot deer grazing and eagles soaring just outside the window. The surrounding area offers plenty to do, surrounded by the landscapes Western Norway is known for.

On this former small farm you can enjoy the silence with sheep and sometimes deer close to the cottage. The new cottage is located a few minutes from the majestic sea cliff Hornelen. The area offers very good fishing opportunities and hiking in the woods and mountains. We have 2 kayaks, 1 canoe, motor boat and 2 SUP boards for rent if available and on request.
