Meadowbrook Studio is a cosy, self-contained space which is ideal for a relaxing short break. With its own private entrance, it offers comfort and privacy, including a comfortable double bed with fresh linens, excellent WiFi, Smart TV, and a kitchenette. Guests can enjoy a self-serve continental breakfast, while outside, an outdoor kitchen with gas BBQ and pizza oven creates a perfect setting for dining in the fresh Wicklow air after a day exploring nearby forests, valleys, and coastline.

The space
Meadowbrook studio is an ideal base to explore the surrounding Wicklow countryside. Avondale Forestry park is only 10 mins walk with its fantastic trails, stunning scenery, tree top walk and viewing tower.

A 15 min drive will take you to many Wicklow attractions such as Glendalough, The National park, Glenmalure valley & waterfall, Kilmacurragh Botanic gardens, Greenane Maze, Avoca Mill & cafe and Wicklow Town

Hidden Valley aqua park and Clara Lara fun park are within 5 mins drive.

The studio has its own private entrance. Clean, fresh and cosy rooms with a comfortable memory foam double bed with crisp cotton bed linen. (A travel cot is also available on request)

Kitchen area with tea and coffee making facilities, Nespresso machine and pods provided, microwave, toaster and fridge.

We also provide continental self serve breakfast options of cereals, brown bread, eggs from our own chickens, jam, butter, multiples of fresh fruit, & orange juice. Bottled water is also available and a selection of herbal teas.

Outside there is an outdoor kitchen with gas BBQ for your use. This also converts to a 12" pizza oven - cooking them to perfection in a short timeframe.

The studio has an excellent wifi connection and a smart TV so you can connect to your own Netflix, Amazon or Apple account.

Bathroom has a power shower. Mirror with built in light. Towels are provided along with free toiletries. Please note that it can take 20 minutes for the water to heat for showers.

This is a self-contained apartment for your exclusive use and is accessed via its own front door.

Guests can enjoy the enclosed garden and take in the views of the Wicklow mountains and fantastic sun sets.

We can securely store bicycle and sport equipment

Rathdrum village is serviced by the Dublin (Connolly Station) to Rosslare train line. This is approximately 25 mins walk from Meadowbrook and there is a footpath all the way. I am also happy to pick you up from the station if required.

The 183 local link bus also stops in close proximity to Meadowbrook. Just ask the driver to let you off at Corballis.

The local village is 2km where there are train and bus links along with a supermarket, coffee shop, restaurant and pubs serving food.

Parnell Memorial Park is a beautiful green area, with sculptures and winding paths and outdoor gym, as well as a great playground for the kids.

The 'Jubilee Looped Walk' will take you through the famine graveyard, the original mass path, millennium forest and along the banks of the Avonmore River. The route starts at the church car park and is one of many trails in the area.

Head to the Samuel Hayes suspension bridge and take a walk along the Avonmore way, though the forest and alongside the Avonmore river and Clara nature reserve. For a longer route, park at the Meetings of the Waters and take the looped 10K hike to Avoca Miners cross and take in spectacular views of the Vale of Avoca.

For those interested in cycling their way around County Wicklow, you will find many interesting routes close by, such as the 'Meetings of the waters loop' which takes in Rathdrum, Meetings of the water, Avoca, Aughrim, Glenmalure and Glendalough/Laragh.
