Island Österören is an island located in the Boxö archipelago and is surrounded by Boxö nature reserve and on the island's highest point Glasberget stands the stall overlooking the North Sea. Welcome. This cottage built in 1894 has been carefully renovated to a cosy guesthouse on 30m2 for 5 people. A cottage with the comfort of modern people of today but still with the atmosphere of back in the old days. This is tho cottage for you if you like to visit a traditional Swedish house, and like a place to relax. But here is also many possibilities for activities. From Helsinki Airport by train to the lake? A log cabin with a great single-family house. You can also swim in the winter, rent a wood-burning sauna, a kayak (2pcs), a sup board (2pcs), and a rowing boat. The lake and adjacent rapids are popular with fishermen. The Birgita Trail hiking trail and the canoeing trail around Lempäälä run alongside. 2 km to ski trails. 1 km to train station, including to Tampere (12min) and Helsinki (1h20min). Ideapark shopping center 5 km.
