Holidays by the lake Unden

In the middle of West Götalands unspoilt nature with its lakes and forests, near the big lake Vättern, about 5 kilometers from the village of Undenäs and far away from any through traffic, the small country village of Igelstad is located, directly on the lake Unden. The village is a small collection of scattered houses and farms, of which some are permanently inhabited, while others are used as summer cottages. Here, in a large clearing in the forest, the small farm "Nolgården" is situated. The house is a separate, well-equipped classic wooden log house, built in spruce. It was thourougly renovated in 2008. There is a private bathroom, kitchen and private terrace, Internet connection (WLAN) and Amazon Fire TV (Magenta TV). A cozy fireplace and electric heating provide comfortable warmth. Directly from the house you can make nice walks in the unspoilt nature, pick berries and mushrooms, or walk to lake Unden, one of the clearest and most pristine lakes in Sweden. From the house to the west side of the peninsula, there is only 800 meters. Here you can have a swim or enjoy the sunset over Unden. The eastern shore can be reached in quarter of an hour via a forest path. By the shore a canoe lies ready for extensive reconnaissance trips to the beautiful deserted islands and quiet bays. But the area has much more to offer: the romantic Tiveden National Park, Lake Viken, Forsvik and the Göta canal with its locks, and the huge lake Vättern are just a few examples of interesting destinations.

Totally renovated cottage on a lake property.

The cottage is located at Östra Laxsjön overlooking the lake. From the swimming jetty on the beach, you can easily get down into the clear water for a swim or why not take a ride with the rowing boat. The shallow sandy bottom makes it very swimming-friendly. Shared kitchen/living room with open plan where there is also a fireplace to burn in. One bedroom with a double bed and a sleeping loft with two single beds. Kitchen with dining area + TV and sofa. Bathroom with shower corner and toilet. Glazed terrace with lounge furniture. Wood-fired sauna available.

Cottage in Tiveden with lake view over Unden

Cozy guest house in the middle of Tiveden with lake view and nice walks, about 25 m2. Completely renovated in 2019. Stove, fridge, freezer compartment, toilet, shower, fireplace. The cottage is located close to the main house (see picture) but the plot is large. 140 cm bed, camping bed available on request. Good for families with 1 child, we have a trampoline and berry bushes. Approx. 5 km to Ösjönäs National Park, 25 km to the National Park's main entrance Between Tived/Sannerud, Tivedens Lanthandel (10 km) and Ica in Undenäs (10 km).

Welcome to Snickargården in scenic Stora Mosshult, Tiveden! Here you rent a charming newly renovated house built in 1886 with room for up to 8 guests. In the house, there are all the amenities of our time but with saved details from the past. Hiking trails and swimming lake are within walking distance. Tiveden's attractions are within walking distance and can be reached by bicycle or car. Bed linens, towels and final cleaning are included. Regrettably, we cannot accommodate pets, as many of our guests are allergic to fur.

Newly built luxury beach house (1) in Varamon Motala

Newly built house with absolutely the best location on the Nordic's longest lake beach and one of Sweden's finest beaches. With walking paths, cafés and restaurants, it is a place that has something for everyone. The shallow, clean water is protected in a bay that is perfect for surfing and kayaking. Close to paddle tennis courts, tennis courts, mini golf. No pets allowed. Sheets/towels are not included, but can be rented for SEK 100/person. Events/parties are not allowed. Hookahs/smoking are not allowed!

Stugan har 4 bäddar, tillagning av lättare måltider i mindre kök, toalett o dusch och fin uteplats med grillmöjligheter. 3st cyklar finns för utlåning. Egen parkeringsplats. Önskas hyra lakan och handduk 100:-bädd, meddela innan ankomst. Städning ingår EJ ! Önskas städs. tillkommer en avg på 500:-

Ta en paus och varva ner i denna fridfulla oas. Fin sjöutsikt från stugan och ca 300 m till bad och grillplats vid sjön. Cosy cabin only 10 minutes by car from the famous Tivedens National Park. Amazing view to lake Unden, the largest fresh water lake in Tived. Fantastic to swim in when it's warm in the summer. Amazing sunsets and a very peaceful atmosphere. Romantic. The area straight down from the cabin by the water doesn't belong to the property but welcomes respectful visitors.

Just a few steps from the sauna, you can take a refreshing dip in the clear lake and then unwind in the warm jacuzzi. Simsjön is a scenic and peaceful spot, perfect for escaping everyday stress and spending quality time together. You can borrow your own boat to explore the lake and enjoy fishing 🎣🌿

Welcome to Sörgården and our horse farm! Enjoy all four seasons from the top floor, with a stunning view of Lake Bottensjön to the west. This modern house from 2022 offers 45 sqm of living space. The apartment shares the building with two other units. Perfect for 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children. One bed is a sofa bed, which may not suit two adults. Feel free to book our floating sauna on the lake – 500 SEK per session. Relax and enjoy the unique tranquility by the water!

The gem of Norra Vätättern

On a ridge overlooking northern Lake Vättern's beautiful archipelago lies our modern, newly built holiday home with large social areas and a fantastic ceiling height with nice light inputs. Here a slightly larger group/family can find recovery with proximity to nature yet it is only 10 minutes by car to the beautiful small city of Askersund. Tivedens National Park is close as well as the long sandy beach Harjebaden. The house was completed in autumn 2018 and has all amenities.

Granvik

Slappna av i detta bekväma, unika och lugna boende mitt i skogen där ingen biltrafik råder. Här får ni närhet till bad och fiske i ett flertal sjöar. Vitsands och Djäknesundets vackra badplatser ligger 25 respektive 9 km från stugan. Flertalet naturreservat finns runt knuten. Tivedens nationalpark ligger endast 10 km bort. Tiveden bjuder också på vandrings-, rid- och kanotleder. Från Karlsborg kan man ta en tur med kanalbåten på Göta kanal eller besöka Karlsborgs fästning.
