At elevation 9,300, enjoy a wide, jaw-dropping view of the Sangre de Cristo mountains. The wind sings through the pines and wildlife abounds. No mosquitos, just hummingbirds! We provide lots of info about fun places within striking distance. In the fully outfitted cabin are Old West music and radio show albums, and games, puzzles, and books - many of those with a Western theme like much of decor. The property has over a mile of river access, 0.6 of a mile on both sides with easy access to the river on trails that parallel the river. To access the opposite side of the river from the campground, an elevated swinging bridge is suspended across the river.

A 3 bedroom, 2 bath home with beds for 6 people and plenty of space for a few more if sofa's or sleeping bags on the floor suits you. Close to the Royal Gorge (35 mins), fishing/white water rafting on the Arkansas River ( 15 mins), skiing at Monarch (1+hr), and public lands for exploring, hiking, and hunting where you can enjoy Colorado outdoor living and adventures at its finest.
