The A73 motorway connection Schleusingen is 2 km away. Oberhof and Coburg can be reached in about 30 minutes.

Here you can simply relax, enjoy great excursions into nature or to the Hohenwarte reservoir (Thuringian Sea), which can be reached on foot via a 1.2 km hiking trail. Holiday home "Leonard" on the edge of the forest

The idyllically located holiday home with a size of approx. 50 sqm has a living room with an open kitchen, a bedroom, a bathroom and space for two people. The cozy cottage is located in the beautiful health resort of Finsterbergen, right on the edge of the forest and very close to the Rennsteig (5km). Due to its location, it offers an ideal starting point for extensive hikes. The forest pool with volleyball, mini golf and tennis courts are about 200m away.

Bundorf Castle Mill

CORONAVIRUS NEWS: Check-in without host contact and shopping service possible! Our vacation home is a more than 200-year-old former water mill in the hilly landscape of the Franconian Hassberge. Where the flour for the estate of Bundorfer Castle was once milled, today up to 12 guests can relax on 250 square meters in the elegant lounge, the open kitchen with a cozy breakfast room and 6 bedrooms. From the private garden you can see the castle and its park.

The house is modern and the garden offers plenty of space for free development. Perfect for winter sports in and around Oberhof in the winter months, and great for hiking, cycling and sightseeing in and around the Thuringian Forest and much more for the rest of the year. The sauna and hot tub need preparation. If you want to use it, please let us know after booking. Furthermore, we have a pool that you can use in the summer by arrangement.

The cozy wooden house is located directly on the edge of the forest in a secluded location, within walking distance to the center (the nearest supermarket is 150 meters away). The climatic health resort of Masserberg, a UNESCO biosphere reserve, is the perfect spot to relax and unwind. Hiking, cycling and cross-country trails are right outside the front door.
