The properties of Mountain Laurel Inn lie on the outskirts of DeSoto State Park, and offer easy access to trails and hiking.

The Oak Leaf Cottage, in the Fort Payne Alabama Historic District, served as the home for caretakers of The Oaks, its parent property, and a town icon, built-in 1884. The cottage features one-bedroom with an en-suite bath, soaking tub and shower, walk-in closet, LR, fireplace w/gas logs, kitchenette, and outside veranda. Quaint, totally refreshed furnishings, wi-fi, tv. 3-blocks from vibrant shops & entertainment. Close to waterfalls/hiking.
