Featuring private walking trails, seasonal waterfalls, and 2,000 feet of frontage on Straight Creek, the cottage is a peaceful place to unwind, recharge, and enjoy the quiet of Northeast Alabama. You’ll be close to the best of the area, including DeSoto Falls, downtown Mentone, Little River Canyon, and shopping and restaurants in Fort Payne.

Johnnie’s Hideaway
Johnnie’s Hideaway sits on a private wooded lot on Johnnie’s Creek. Close to destinations such as Little River Canyon, Mentone, Desoto State Park, Weiss Lake, are all a short drive. Our cabin sleeps six with a queen bed on main floor, and two full beds in loft area. Main floor has 2 baths with utility room, fully appointed kitchen, dining/living room combo which features a two story rock fireplace with gas logs. A covered wrap around porch & sun deck on the back make great outdoor spaces.
