Our guest house is attached to the main house with its private entrance on the left side of the home. We are located in the beautiful mountains of NW Georgia just a 6 minute drive to Mentone, AL. Staying with us you will experience staying on a small homestead equipped with chickens (and a rooster) and a small garden on the front and back of the property.

This is a mother in law suite that is located right at the foot of Lookout Mountain and just in front of Weiss Lake. Here you are less than a mile from a public boat access. Minutes away from Cherokee Rock Village, Little River Canyon, Little River, Coosa River, and Neely Henry Lake. The suite sets just above our attached garage that you will have a parking space in to keep you out of the weather. It has its own door and is separate from the main house.

The Oak Leaf Cottage, in the Fort Payne Alabama Historic District, served as the home for caretakers of The Oaks, its parent property, and a town icon, built-in 1884. The cottage features one-bedroom with an en-suite bath, soaking tub and shower, walk-in closet, LR, fireplace w/gas logs, kitchenette, and outside veranda.
