Here on the Östergötland plain you will find Lake Vättern's beautiful beach, Vadstena's exciting history, magnificent Omberg, lovely food crafts and much more!

Welcome to our beautiful house on the headland, with Lake Vättern as your closest neighbor. This detached house with a large garden offers about 90 sqm of living space on two floors, with open plan kitchen and living room, bathroom, and two comfortable bedrooms, with room for 4-5 people. The attached guest house offers a bedroom with bunk bed and space for 2-3 people. The guest house has its own shower and toilet. The living room is open up to the ridge. Above the bedroom is a loft with two mattresses that can be used as extra beds. The kitchen is fully equipped and has a dishwasher. Here you can feel the wings of history in the walls. Soldattorp 119 is a well-preserved 17th-century cottage that has been renovated with feeling and care. The history and soul of the cottage is preserved, but at the same time it is equipped to suit all the wishes of the modern guest. The entire interior breathes calm, when you step over the threshold through the ocher-yellow double doors, have a cup of coffee on the glass porch or listen to the rain in our favorite armchair, the stress of everyday life already feels distant.

Newly built house with absolutely the best location on the Nordic's longest lake beach and one of Sweden's finest beaches. With walking paths, cafés and restaurants, it is a place that has something for everyone. The shallow, clean water is protected in a bay that is perfect for surfing and kayaking. Close to paddle tennis courts, tennis courts, mini golf. No pets allowed. Sheets/towels are not included, but can be rented for SEK 100/person. Events/parties are not allowed. Hookahs/smoking are not allowed!

Gästis is furnished with old and new things because the owner loves Second Hand. There is a well-functioning kitchen with a refrigerator, small freezer, stove with oven and kitchen utensils. A kitchen table with two chairs is ready to be used, but there is also a corner sofa to curl up in. It can also be used for a third guest by arrangement. The bedroom has a 160 cm double bed for two people. In the garden there is a terrace with a dining set and lounge furniture.

I have built a somewhat unique wood-fired sauna in a ground cellar. Pets are welcome and I can offer a cage for guinea pigs/rabbits etc.
