The Brush & Boot cottage is a 2 double bedroom getaway retreat, that sleeps 4 (+sofa bed). Peacefully situated on a hillside sheep farm with great views just 15 mins from York Park & Ride, 25 mins from York centre & 5 mins to Castle Howard in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Modern and well appointed with large gardens, comfy sofa, chairs & table for up to 6, fitted & equipped kitchen, comfy bedrooms, one on each floor, both en suite. A sofa bed is also available (fee applies).

In the rural village of Sheriff Hutton, located just 20 minutes north of York and less than 1 hr from beach. Free parking. Your shepherd's hut is set in the enclosed, inner courtyard of the C14th castle ruins, your own private space. Atmospheric and perfect for relaxing, enjoying a quiet drink in the evening in front of the fire pit & gazing at a starry sky or the impressive runs. We have 3 other stays, for couples, around the castle available if you would like to visit with friends.

Stunning rural shepherds hut

Located in the stunning Howardian Hills, this is a peaceful and romantic location. A perfect all year round escape. You park your car and the hut is a 5 minute walk from our house- make sure you pack suitable footwear. We can transport your luggage to the hut. The hut has cooking facilities (oven and a hob), there is also a fire pit for barbecues and a picnic table for outdoor dining. You have exclusive use of a hot tub which is right next to the hut.

Tarrs Yard is a beautifully restored early 18th century cottage, nestled in the valley between York and Malton. Ideal for walkers and nature lovers, the cottage is just a short drive from Castle Howard and close to the North Yorkshire Moors, Dalby Forest and the Yorkshire Coast. The village has strong connections with Richard III, and is ideally situated to explore medieval York, Castle Howard, the North York Moors or the Yorkshire coast. There is a shop/Post Office, and walking routes right outside the door. The village pub, The Highwayman, serves good pub grub.

Seaves Mill situated on the edge of The Howardian Hills in the North Yorkshire village of Brandsby 13.5 miles from the city of York. Seaves Mill has been converted into this beautiful living space by avid gardeners and architectural antique dealers Phil and Jo. The space has been designed with quality and decorative design in mind. It is set within beautifully landscaped gardens along side the picturesque Mill stream.
