The Tropical Flower Lodge sits at the foothills of Mt Bartle Frere, surrounded by lush rainforest and vibrant tropical gardens. Our property is also a working flower farm, home to a wide variety of Heliconias and Gingers. The lodge is completely self‑sustaining. Fresh spring water flows though the property a gravity‑fed system, our on‑site waterfall generates clean hydroelectric power. Guests often tell us it feels like staying in a hidden, eco‑friendly sanctuary where nature does all the work.

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Situated on a 125 acre cattle farm on a quiet section of Lake Tinaroo sits this recently renovated cottage. As you drive down the sealed driveway you will admire the views of the lake and distant mountains. Swim, fish, canoe or launch your tinny from the rustic boat ramp or simply relax on one of the patios or in front of the firepit. This private cottage has all your comforts for a relaxing stay. Lakeside Loft

The Lakeside Loft is the ultimate relaxing getaway. It is a luxury pole home, nestled in the tree tops. It boasts three levels all with breath taking panoramic views of the Lake. The back yard has direct access to the lake for water sports for most of the year. We have a canoe and kayak for guest use. The closest boat ramp is located at Tinaburra which is only a couple of mins away. Yungaburra village is also a couple of mins drive and it is 15 min to Atherton and just over 1hr to Cairns.

Mammals include Tree kangaroos and Herbert River and Green Ringtail Possums.

Come relax at our property! Indulge in the crystal clear water of Fishery Creek just outside the front gate, pick some fruit off our citrus trees, and explore the small towns nearby in our piece of paradise Perfect spot for access to Babinda, Harveys Creek or Josephine Falls, and Gordonvale Woolies is a 13min drive away. Please note we have two big friendly dogs that will come say hello, we also have two young kids but they won’t disturb you!
