A historic, log house apartment (building 1900, completely renovated in the 21st century) on the seafront in the tranquility of the forest. The apartment has 2 bedrooms, a kitchen-living room, a bathroom, and a hallway. Fully equipped kitchen: dishwasher, washer, refrigerator/freezer, microwave, coffee maker, kettle, toaster, etc. Amenities include a shower, toilet, air source heat pump. Book for 4–5 people; the beach sauna can be booked separately for €30/hour (the sauna is pre-heated and sessions are between 6 pm and 10 pm)

Villa Juurus log cabin with hot tub

In this unique and peaceful cottage, it's easy to relax while gazing at the beautiful lake landscape. A 55m² cabin and a new 30m² outbuilding, plus a large terrace and a barbecue area by the water. Air heat pump and fireplace in use. Close to good fishing, berry picking, and outdoor terrain. Kuopio 35 km, Riistavesi 10 km. The renter has access to a sup board and a rowing boat, as well as a wifi connection. If necessary, linen/towel rental 10e/person, final cleaning 80e extra. The price includes the use of the hot tub.

Lapland cabin by a lake

This small, traditional, Lappish log cabin is located right at lake Norvajärvi , only some steps to the water (or ice in winter). Enjoy the lake view and forest around you, immerse to the nature and its sounds and smells, marvel the northern lights and cosy up by the open fire. Cabin has electricity but no running water. We bring drinking water in containers and washing water to sauna is taken from the sweet water lake. We are 20km from Rovaniemi city, apprx 30min drive -with no street lights.

Fairy tales on the forest lake

A typical Finnish cottage (55.8 sq.m) was built in 1972 and completely renovated in 2014, preserving the authentic atmosphere. The nearest shop or gas station is 25 kilometers away. We live behind the forest 200 meters from the cottage all year round. The location of the cottage is unique in that, on the one hand, you feel complete freedom and privacy, on the other hand, we are always around and ready to help and communicate if you wish. Our plot and garden are always open to our guests.

Possibility to swim in the lake, rent a wood-fired sauna, relax in the hot tub, use kayaks (2), SUP boards (2), and a rowing boat. The lake and adjacent rapids are popular with fishermen. The Birgita Trail hiking trail and the canoeing trail around Lempäälä run alongside. 2 km to ski trails. 1.2 km to train station, including to Tampere (12min) and Helsinki (1h20min). Ideapark shopping center 7km.

Koskikara

A lovely cabin on the shore of Kalkkistenkoski. On the terace you can grill, eat, enjoy the evening sun, lounge on the deck chairs or see the local bird populations. The cabin also has a sauna, hot tub and an indoor fireplace. The cabins kitchen has the essentials for cooking and the barbeque and outdoor fireplace can also be used for cooking. The kitchen and sauna have warm water and drinking water will be delivered to the cabin. The cabin has an outdoor composting toilet.
