Or why not take a paddle tour or boat trip in the Baltic Sea/Ellenösjön – canoes/kayaks are available to borrow. There are also plenty of wild animals such as elk, deer, deer and wild boar in the nearby area.

The days may be spent in the woods and nature, or with the canoe that is available in the lake. Once home, you might light the wood stove and let your thoughts wander over the day's events.

We rent out our whole villa by our farm. It is located next to the south shore of Vänern. Due to covid we only host one company. This separate cottage has a view over the sea in a secluded, beautiful countryside setting, still just 5 mins from the E6 motorway. It is recently completely refurbished keeping the old style. On first floor a living room with a cosy fire place (iron stove), a bathroom with toilet, shower and underfloor heating, a small but fully equipped kitchen, and a dining room with doors to the terrace. On second floor it is an open loft with limited height functioning as a bedroom with 4 beds in total.

Hjalmars Farm the Studio

The guest apartment is located in the barn at our farm in Stigfjorden Nature Reserve. You see the open landscape with fields and farms, behind mountains and forests to walk in. Nearest bath is 1 km. The silence is significant even during the summer period. To Skärhamn 12 km, Pilane Art 8 km and to Sundsby manor 7 km. Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay, close to nature and the lake. The cottage consists of a bedroom with a double bed. Living room (sofa bed) and kitchen. On the patio, you can enjoy the sun and the large lawn invites the children to play. Kroppefjäll is close and has several nice hiking trails. Ragnerudssjön and its swimming area is about 4 km from the cottage. Ragnerud's campground is also within easy distance with a restaurant and full rights.

Ängens gårdsläghet in Lane Ryr is located on our old dairy farm from the 1800s. Here you can take a break and unwind with either a lovely walk in nature or enjoy a good book on our beautiful outdoor terrace located by the stream that winds around the farm. If you would rather discover the shopping, the farm is 20 km from Torp or 20 km from Överby. 10 km from Uddevalla city center. (the outdoor shower is removed for the season)
