What you'll do

I will meet with my hiking group at Killarney Convention Centre car park (by The Brehon Hotel entrance) at 10:30. After I have made sure they have the right footwear (hiking shoes or boots) and clothing for our walk, I will discuss our day with them and show them our route clearly on the map. From this meeting point we have to drive 10 minutes to the starting point near Torc Waterfall. Please, bring your own transport.

We will start our 4 hours walk together at a leisurely pace and I will make sure that everybody is comfortable and happy.

We will stop at regular intervals for people to enjoy the scenery, to take pictures, and have some food and drinks.

During the walk I like to talk with my group about flora, fauna related to the area, and sites of interest such as standing stones, stone circles or ancient dwelling places.

The walking route will be to Torc Waterfall & Mountain with a great view of lakes and mountains in Killarney National Park.

Every one of my guided walks has its own particular places of outstanding beauty. I always aim to make my walks a very special and memorable experience for my clients.

Cesar is a wonderful hiking guide and conversationalist and my only regret is that I wasn't able to spend more time in the area. He is truly devoted to his craft and makes sure that his fellow hikers are well cared for, ensuring to do as much as he possibly can to tailor the experience to meet or exceed their expectations.

I would have missed a great experience had I not found this hike. He was a good guide who came prepared with extra walking poles and snacks. Lots of fun. We got lucky on good weather!

Great hike. It was wonderful having someone who knows the trails. He was also very concerned that I enjoyed myself and did not push myself too much.
