About your host

We are Kim Da-hae and Song Han-na, a ceramist duo whose work is inspired by the patchwork and coloring of beautiful parts of Korea. We majored in pottery work and work by re-interpreting the colors of the patchwork landscape of Korea.

What we’ll do

This workshop takes place in a small, warm studio in the center of Seoul. We'll make pottery together in the small courtyard of our modern hanok—Korean style house. In the class we'll make a circular plate and a half-moon shaped chopstick rest with colored clay containing 7 Korean style colors. Then you'll cut and arrange the clay in a pattern on white porcelain. You can write your name or draw a…

The fee includes materials, kiln firing, and snacks. We will ship the completed work to you. Cracks may occur during the drying/firing process. Think of it is the charm of handmade work.
