What you'll do
On this tour, you'll join me as we explore the city and food culture through the medium of donuts. You'll learn history of Chicago, each donut location, how they fit into the larger food scene, as well as try some amazing donuts. We start from the French Market (Chicago's first food hall) where we'll try some mini-donuts from Dapper Doughnuts. We'll then move on to Do-Rite donuts where we try the best old fashioned you've had in your life. Next we'll stop by Firecakes donuts to try a few of their seasonal flavors and finish the tour at Stans Donuts near Michigan avenue. Depending on the day of the week (i.e. Sunday), we may swap one of the stops for Doughnut Vault.
I've always had a passion for donuts, but only recently did I discover how much other people do too. Whether it's making, eating, or talking about donuts - it's something I'm truly passionate about. That's why I created the Underground Donut Tour. The Underground Donut Tour is Chicago's only tour focused solely on donuts.
