I'm an environmental activist/educator and founder of Bay Area Green Tours, a nonprofit dedicated to showcasing local green change makers. I've led a certified green organization since 2003.

Our goal is to inspire the next generation of leaders, consumers and advocates promoting a healthy community and planet.

What we’ll do

Experience Dogpatch, one of SF’s most vibrant under-the-radar neighborhoods that tourists rarely visit and is a vibrant new destination. We’ll hear about it’s rough and tumble history amid the long deserted waterfront ruins and learn about the innovative development repurposing and bringing to life these landmark buildings. We’ll get to to purchase local “SF Made” souvenirs actually made in SF! …

What else you should know

After our time at Magnolia Brewery, you can have dinner right there at their delicious Smokestack BBQ and hang with the locals or we'll suggest one of the a fabulous nearby restaurants.

What I’ll provide

Snacks
ReGrained Supergrain bars Harvested grain from Magnolia Brewery and upcycle “spent” grain it to create sustainable food to fight food waste at the tap.

Where you'll be

We’ll start at the historic Pier 70 development, then visit Spicer, home to unique SF products that “have a story to tell.” We’ll mosey along and try baked goods, ice cream and chocolate along the way to the Museum of Craft & Design. We’ll cap our experience over a craft beer at Magnolia Brewery.

Any experience can be cancelled and fully refunded within 24 hours of purchase, or at least 7 days before the experience starts.

Communication policy

Always communicate through Airbnb. To protect your payment, never transfer money or communicate outside the Airbnb website or app.

Guest requirements

Up to 18 guests ages 18 and up can attend.
